The anaerobic digester-HSCW system was installed in the coffee farm 'La Concepción' located in the small town of Felipe Carrillo Puerto (00040.22!15 ° N and 92 °11042.96'! W; 542 masl), in the muni- cipality of Tapachula, Chiapas in south Mexico. It was designed and built to full scale and received domestic wastewater discharges from laborers housing. The research was carried over a period of 6 months (March-August 2013).
