El siguiente trabajo tiene como objetivo reflexionar sobre esa experiencia del retorno que algunos migrantes chiapanecos completan tras realizar la travesía hacia el llamado sueño americano. Para desarrollar esta investigación se efectuó un acercamiento a la juventud rural de Las Margaritas, Chiapas, lugar de origen, que desde hace varias décadas viene incorporándose al mercado laboral internacional. Para ello, se distinguen los elementos discursivos que los hacen reconocerse y crear una identidad propia sobre sí mismos, además de averiguar cuál es la influencia que estos mecanismos ejercen a la hora de meditar el retorno al lugar de origen. Asimismo, se realiza un acercamiento a la interpretación de sus relatos para conocer la visión de la juventud respecto al regreso, así como las nuevas pautas, estilos y prácticas juveniles que se crean al retornar. The following work aims to reflect on that experience of return that some migrants from Chiapas complete after making the journey to the so-called American dream. To develop this research, an approach was made to the rural youth of Las Margaritas, Chiapas, which for several decades has been incorporated into the international labor market. For this, we distinguish the discursive elements that make them recognize and create their own identity about themselves, as well as find out what is the influence that these mechanisms exert when meditating the return to the place of origin. Likewise, an approach is made to the interpretation of their stories to know the vision of the youth regarding the return, as well as the new patterns, styles and youthful practices that are created when returning.
