Geophysical methods can be useful tools for detection of leakages in dams and waste disposal sites. Self-potential/geoelectrical and thermometrical techniques as well as infrared imagery procedures are still under development in this field of application, but there already is much international experience available. The papers presented here give a good review of the international state of the art. eng
