Este artículo explora la relación entre la construcción cultural del paisaje y las instituciones sociales de la comunidad y la familia en un municipio de la zona maya de Yucatán. Se plantea que la organización de los espacios productivos diferenciados dentro del paisaje cultural se genera a partir de estas instituciones, ya la vez es un reflejo metafórico de las mismas. Finalmente, a través del análisis del manejo de los espacios, se muestra la interdependencia de la definición del paisaje cultural con las instituciones "comunidad" y "familia" en la zona de estudio. This article explores the relationship between the cultural construction of the landscape and social institutions of the community and families in a district from the Mayan zone of Yucatán. It is set forth that the organization of the differenciated productive spaces within the cultural landscape is generated from these institutions, and at the same time, it is a metaphorical reflection of the same. Finally, it is shown through the analysis of space control, the interdependence of the definition of cultural landscape with the community and family institutions in the zone of study. Inglés
