El presente texto ofrece una aproximación al proceso resiliente a escala comunitaria, a partir de un planteamiento teorético que entrelaza tres componentes: los conocimientos culturales, las capacidades sociales, y las estrategias organizativas. Los conocimientos culturales y las capacidades sociales hacen referencia a mecanismos intersubjetivos y cognitivos colectivos, que dan cuenta de las pautas de interpretación del mundo y de las herramientas psicológicas para resguardarse, enfrentarse y reconstruirse frente a las situaciones adversas. Las estrategias organizativas se refieren a la materialización de las abstracciones en prácticas concretas que implican negociaciones en ámbitos formales e informales y relaciones de poder presentes en el contexto. Se defiende que al transitar hacia una comprensión que articula dimensiones complejas, que integran diversas disciplinas académicas con el conocimiento de la propia gente y sus aspectos culturales, es posible comprender las características propias de la capacidad colectiva de los grupos de resistir, sobreponerse y reconstruirse ante la adversidad. En ese sentido se genera un aporte a la comprensión y posible intervención en los procesos de resiliencia comunitaria, con fines de reconstrucción y fortalecimiento ante contextos hostiles y amenazantes sin que se pierdan las características que involucran su particularidad cultural. This text offers an approach to the resilient process at the community level, based on a theoretical approach that interweaves three components: cultural knowledge, social skills, and organizational strategies. Cultural knowledge and social capacities refer to collective intersubjective and cognitive mechanisms, which account for the patterns of interpretation of the world and the psychological tools to guard, confront and rebuild in the face of adverse situations. Organizational strategies refer to the materialization of abstractions in concrete practices that involve negotiations in formal and informal domains and power relations present in the context. It is argued that by moving towards an understanding that articulates complex dimensions, integrating different academic disciplines with the knowledge of the people themselves and their cultural aspects, it is possible to understand the characteristics of the collective capacity of groups to resist, overcome and reconstruct themselves before the adversity. In that sense, a contribution is generated to the understanding and possible intervention in the processes of community resilience, for reconstruction and strengthening in the face of hostile and threatening contexts without losing the characteristics that involve their cultural particularity.
