La diferencia entre la Agri-Cultura familiar y el agroextractivismo se encuentra en el problema del habitar: mientras que la primera hace su casa en la tierra, el agronegocio no la habita, sino que busca explotarla, utilizarla, objetivarla, economizarla. Mucho más que un terreno homogéneo para la acumulación del capital, la tierra para los pueblos campesinos constituye un espacio habitado que sirve de soporte a su existencia. Es una morada donde se asientan y se recrean los significados y sentidos de la vida cotidiana. En contraste con la modernidad metafísica que ha edificado una civilización desligada de la inmanencia del espacio terrestre, múltiples culturas rurales en Latinoamérica, se han conformado al interior de la naturaleza como hacedores de Geo-Grafías: como escribientes que plasman su existencia sobre la piel de la tierra. A pesar de las intenciones de insertarlos a los imaginarios modernos, continúan defendiendo sus territorios de vida, para seguir re-inventado sus poéticas del habitar. Español

The difference between the family Agri-Culture and agro-extractivismis the problem of dwelling: while the first makes its home on earth, the agribusiness not inhabits it, but seeks to exploit it, use it, objectify, economizes. Much more than a homogeneous field for capital accumulation, land for peasant's peoples is a place dwelling that supports its existence. It is an abode where they settle and re-create the significance and meanings of everyday life. In contrast to the metaphysical modernity that has built a civilization detached from the immanence of terrestrial space, multiple rural cultures in Latin America, have been made into the nature as makers of Geo-Graphies: as writers that inscribe their existence on the skin earth.
